Website for a Clinic or Medical Practice in Călărași, Live Before Flu Season
In Călărași, winter blows in from the Bărăgan plain, with the crivăț wind catching you at the corner of the block, and it brings the wave of colds and flu with it. That is when the clinic’s reception phone rings non-stop, and the patient with a fever, or the parent of a child who ran a temperature overnight, has a decision to make before leaving the house: will you see them today, do they need an appointment, where do they sit while they wait?
Those answers can’t be written in January, at the height of the wave, when nobody at your clinic has a spare hour. They get written now, in autumn. MPO Web Studio builds your Călărași clinic’s website in time: you get the mockup for free, you correct it while your schedule still has room to breathe, and by the first frosts the site is live and patients have had time to find it.

How it works
- 1We build you a free demo of your site
- 2You tell us what to change
- 3You pay only if you love it
In the crivăț, nobody leaves home just to find out they won’t be seen
When the crivăț sweeps across Călărași, the trip to the clinic is no ordinary walk anymore, especially for someone with a fever or for a mother wrapping her sick child in blankets. That’s why, in winter, the patient wants to know everything before putting their coat on. Do you see acute cases without an appointment, or only with one? Is the paediatrician in today? Do people with a fever wait separately, so they don’t sit next to the pregnant woman in for a check-up? What documents should they bring? If they find the answers on the website, they arrive at the right time and go through the right door. If they don’t, they call. And in the peak weeks, reception can’t catch every call, so the person either gives up or turns up unannounced and lengthens the queue at the desk, fever and all.
Chronic patients want their check-ups done before winter sets in
For someone with a tired heart, diabetes or a lung condition, flu can mean more than a week in bed, and both doctors and many patients know it well. People in Călărași and in the villages near the town, from Modelu to Roseți, would rather have their usual check-up in autumn, while the roads across the plain are still good and the waiting rooms still quiet. Only one thing stops them: they don’t find out in time that now is the moment. A website that tells them, as early as October, which check-ups your doctors recommend before winter, whom they can book with and, if you vaccinate, when it starts and who it’s for, brings them to you at a time when you have room for them. And in January, when the wave arrives, your schedule isn’t choked with check-ups postponed since November.
The mockup now, the website live before the first wave
A website launched in the middle of flu season starts off on the wrong foot: the doctors have no time to read its pages, reception has no time to check it, and the first mistakes are found by patients. That’s why we suggest building it now, while things are calm. We make the mockup at no cost, using the example at /demo/medical as a skeleton and filling it with the doctors, hours and services of your Călărași clinic, and from the start we add the winter pages: how to come in with a fever, who sees children, which check-ups your doctors recommend before the season. You read it at your own pace, and your comments go into the single round of revisions included. The cost starts at €290; once you give the go-ahead, the site appears online within a few days, and after launch you’re covered by a 7-day warranty. When the first days of fevers and coughs hit the whole town, patients already find it there. We’re based in Cluj-Napoca and keep in touch on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
We give the flu jab until the doses run out. How do we announce on the site that they’re gone, so people don’t come for nothing?+
The vaccination page has a status line at the top that we update when you message us: “doses available”, “only a few left”, “out of stock”. Next to it sits the date of the last update, so someone from Roseți knows they aren’t reading last week’s news. When a new batch arrives, you write to us on WhatsApp and the line switches back. On the site we only talk about what happens at your clinic, not about what the patient’s family doctor does.
We have a separate entrance for people with a fever. How do we explain it on the site without frightening other patients?+
As a common-sense rule, not an alarm. We simply write that patients with a fever, a cough or flu symptoms use their own entrance and wait in their own room, so that mothers with babies and chronic patients can sit calmly in the other one. One line on how to recognise that entrance, and what to do if they end up at the main door anyway, is enough. For the other patients, the message is actually reassuring: the clinic has thought of them too.
Our doctors can issue sick-leave certificates. Do we say so on the site, or will we fill the surgery with people who only come for the paperwork?+
Say it, but with your rules next to it: for example, that the certificate is issued only after a consultation, by the doctor who carried it out, and in which situations. Someone who only wanted a piece of paper learns straight away they won’t get it without a consultation, and someone who is genuinely ill learns they don’t need to see another doctor as well. In January, a clearly written rule spares you a lot of arguments at the desk, exactly when you have the least time for them.
Between Christmas and Epiphany we run reduced hours, right when flu is at its peak. Where do we put them so everyone sees them?+
At the top of every page, not just on the contact page. From the second half of December, a short banner shows the hours for each holiday, which doctors are seeing patients and what to do on the days you’re closed: where to go in an emergency. We prepare the banner in advance, together with you, and it disappears on its own after Epiphany. For a parent in Călărași whose child runs a fever on New Year’s night, it’s the first thing they look for.
