A Website for Your Clinic or Medical Practice in Miercurea Ciuc, with the Doctors Up Front

In Miercurea Ciuc, people don't say they're going “to the clinic on such-and-such street” but to a particular doctor, whom they call by name. Recommendations pass from one neighbour to the next, from colleague to colleague, almost always as a name plus a specialty: “Dr So-and-so, the eye doctor, is good.” When the patient gets home and searches on their phone, that name is exactly where they start, not the company sign on the building.

If the name appears nowhere, or appears without a specialty, the search stalls halfway and the recommendation, however warm, is lost. MPO Web Studio builds websites for clinics and medical practices in Miercurea Ciuc that put the doctors in the foreground, each with their specialty, so a patient sent by someone else lands on exactly the person they heard about.

The doctor's name, written the way patients say it

In Ciuc, word about a good doctor travels mostly in Hungarian, where the family name comes first: Kovács Anna, for example, not Anna Kovács. A patient who heard the name from a neighbour or a colleague searches for it in exactly that form, sometimes without accents, the way people type in a hurry. If the website shows the doctor only in the usual Romanian order, or only as “Dr. A. Kovács”, the search can stop before it reaches you. A site that writes the name in both orders, with the full title, does nothing spectacular: it simply doesn't lose a patient someone else sent your way. And the doctor gains too, because a reputation built over years of work in town starts working for them online as well, not just in the pharmacy queue or at the school parents' evening.

Two doctors with the same name in a small town

A handful of Hungarian surnames are very widespread, so in a town the size of Miercurea Ciuc it can easily happen that two doctors share a name with no connection between them. Locals sort out the confusion on the fly, telling them apart by specialty or by neighbourhood: “the children's one” and “the heart one”. Search engines don't know these nicknames. Someone who types only the name gets both doctors' results mixed together, and an appointment request can end up at the wrong practice, with a wasted trip and an extra day of waiting. That's why, in Ciuc, the specialty isn't a detail to tuck away further down but half of the doctor's identity: it has to stick to the name wherever the name appears, from the page title to the result a patient sees on Google. For the patient, it's the difference between finding their doctor first time and ringing three numbers to work out which one is right.

The homepage belongs to your doctors, each with their specialty

On the websites MPO Web Studio makes for clinics in Miercurea Ciuc, the medical team isn't tucked away under “About us” but sits right on the homepage. Each doctor gets a face, a name, a specialty set right next to the name and explained in plain words, and a few lines on what they treat and whom they see: adults, children or both. A click on the name opens their own page, where patients request an appointment with that doctor, not with the clinic in general. We write the texts together, with no superlatives and no promises of cures, and you approve them before anything goes live. We build the mockup for your clinic, with your doctors rather than a stock-photo template, and you see it without paying anything. Our team is in Cluj-Napoca and conversations happen on WhatsApp. Prices start from €290, the site is online a few days after you say yes, and the price includes one round of revisions and a 7-day guarantee from launch.

Frequently asked questions

One of our doctors doesn't want a photo online. How do we present them anyway?+

With the same care as the others, just without a face. We add their name, specialty and what they treat, and in place of the photo a sober medallion, the same for everyone who makes that choice, so no one stands out. Patients look for the specialty and the name first; a photo helps but doesn't decide. If the doctor changes their mind later, we add it without rebuilding the page.

Patients don't know the difference between a senior consultant (medic primar) and a specialist (medic specialist). Should we show the grade on the site, or will it confuse them?+

We show it, with a one-sentence explanation written once on the team page: what each grade means, and that a specialist is fully entitled to examine and treat in their field. Without it, patients read the grade as a ranking and steer clear of the younger doctor. With it, the grade becomes information rather than a verdict, and the choice still rests on the specialty and on what suits the patient.

Two of our doctors share the same specialty. How do we show them without seeming to pit them against each other?+

We place them side by side, in alphabetical order, with photos and texts of the same size. The difference lies in what's written for each: one also sees children, the other focuses mainly on a particular group of conditions or does the ultrasound during the consultation itself. Patients choose what suits them, not whoever looks better on screen, and the doctors don't feel ranked.

Patients type doctors' names without accents: Kovacs instead of Kovács, Szabo instead of Szabó. Will they still find us?+

As a rule, yes: on the page the name is spelled correctly, with its accents, as in official documents, and Google usually connects the hurried, accent-free version to it as well. What a search engine can't guess is the name order and the specialty, so we spell those out: the name in both orders, with the specialty right beside it, in the page title and in the text under the photo.
