Website for Event Photographers and Videographers in Târgu Jiu
In Târgu Jiu, many couples want at least one frame on Brâncuși's axis: at the Table of Silence, under the Gate of the Kiss, or with the Endless Column rising behind them. For a photographer here, that means part of your portfolio inevitably resembles your colleagues': the same stone, the same park, the same paths.
What sets you apart then isn't the place, but how you saw it and edited it: the light you waited for, the skin tone, the white of the dress next to the stone of the gate. A site that shifts your colours on the way sends you back into the crowd. That's why, at MPO Web Studio, the first thing we watch on a photographer's site in Târgu Jiu is that images look on screen exactly as they came out of editing, and you get the mockup for free.

On Brâncuși's axis, light makes the difference, not the place
Families in Gorj know Brâncuși's ensemble by heart, so they look at something else: which hour you chose, how the white of the dress sits against the pale stone of the Gate, whether the couple's skin keeps the same warmth at the Table of Silence and near the Column, where the metal casts a different tint. A couple from here has seen frames from the same spots at their cousins' and colleagues' weddings, so they compare studios against exactly the same backdrops. On location you've already done the hard part: you waited for the right cloud, avoided the harsh midday light, spent hours editing. But that work only shows if it reaches the eyes of the person choosing untouched.
From Transalpina to Defileul Jiului, a different palette on every road
When the session leaves town, Gorj gives you different colours on every road. Up on Transalpina and at Rânca, the light is cold and sharp, and the sky has a blue that's hard to rein in. In Defileul Jiului you work between grey rock and greenish water, with the sun hidden by the slope for much of the day. At Tismana or Polovragi you get dense forest and light sifted through leaves. And the halls where christenings and company parties are held come with mixed lighting, warm and cool, that makes skin change tone from one table to the next. A Gorj photographer lives off mastering all these palettes, and that consistency only shows when they're placed side by side.
You check the mockup on your own editing monitor
We don't ask you to take our word that your colours survive. We export images in the colour space browsers read correctly, with the profile kept in the file, and keep page backgrounds neutral so they don't pull tones warmer or cooler. Then you get the mockup for free and open it on the calibrated monitor you work on, next to your own export from your editing software. If skin, whites or sky don't match, you tell us and we adjust within the single round of revisions. The site starts at €290, is ready in a few days, and any defect that shows up within 7 days of launch is covered by the warranty. We discuss everything on WhatsApp, working remotely from Cluj-Napoca.
Frequently asked questions
Many clients look at very saturated screens. Does it still matter how accurate the colours are on the site?+
It matters precisely because of that. You can't control everyone's screen, but you can control the file. If the image leaves correct, a saturated screen exaggerates it the same way it exaggerates everything else, and the viewer perceives it as natural next to everything else they see there. If it leaves already wrong, that screen pushes it even further from what you edited.
I edit summer weddings warm and winter sessions at the Column cooler. Can they live on the same site without looking like two different people's work?+
Yes, if you arrange them with care. We group them by season or type of event, so each gallery is consistent in itself and the move from one to another reads as a choice, not a slip. A short line explaining why you chose that tone also helps: clients read it as your signature.
Couples compare the photos on the site with the printed album and say they aren't the same. What do I tell them?+
That paper and screen will never look identical: a screen emits light, paper reflects it. On the site we add a short section about the album, with pages photographed in daylight, so people see what the print really looks like. A client who knows the difference from the start won't mistake it for a defect when they open the box.
Is checking the colours on my monitor added to the price, or already included?+
It's included. It's part of how we build any photographer's site, not a separate service. We start at €290, and we send you the exact amount, depending on how many galleries and pages you want, on WhatsApp together with the link to the mockup. Colour adjustments requested after the check fall within the round of revisions.
