Online Store Website in Târgu Jiu, with Stock in Plain View

In Târgu Jiu, almost every purchase by someone who isn't standing right at the counter starts with the same question: “do you still have it?” It's asked by the man from Motru who wants to know whether the trip is worth it, by the customer who saw the product at your place two weeks ago, by the one from Novaci who needs four identical pieces, not one. For now, the answer lives in your head and in a phone that rings exactly while you're serving someone else.

An online store that shows its stock turns that question into a glance at a screen. People see what's on the shelf, how many pieces are left and whether they can pick them up today, and you only get orders for what you really have. MPO Web Studio builds stores like this for merchants in Târgu Jiu and the rest of Gorj.

How it works

  1. 1We build you a free demo of your site
  2. 2You tell us what to change
  3. 3You pay only if you love it

In Gorj, the question isn't just “do you still have it?” but “how many are left?”

Târgu Jiu is where serious shopping gets done for a good part of Gorj. From Rovinari, Târgu Cărbunești or Bumbești-Jiu, a trip into town is tied to other errands and goes on the calendar, and the person making it rarely comes for a single item. They come for six plates from the same set, for two pairs of boots in different sizes, for the light bulbs for the whole house. For them, a “yes, we have it” said over the phone isn't enough: if they find four plates out of six at your place, the trip is half wasted, and the rest has to be found somewhere else. The alternative isn't the shop across the street, but a bigger city more than a hundred kilometres away or a parcel that comes from far off, in a few days. The retailer who wins is the one who tells them in advance not just that they have it, but how many.

“In stock” is worth something only when it's counted on your shelf

Anyone in Gorj who buys online has run, at least once, into sellers who write “in stock” on everything and call the next day to say the goods arrive in three weeks. That's why an empty label no longer convinces them. A number does: three pieces, last size, two complete sets. And that number can be given honestly only by someone who keeps the goods with them, whether the shop is near Calea Eroilor or in a residential neighbourhood, not in a warehouse nobody knows anything about. This is your advantage over the sellers far away — on one condition: the number on the site and the one on the shelf must be one and the same, even on the day you sell half your stock over the counter.

Your demo comes with pieces counted, not “available” written everywhere

To show you how it works, we set up a free demo with goods taken from your shelf and the real number of pieces for each. Then you do what you do on any day: sell a product at the counter, take the piece off on your phone and watch the page change. When it reaches zero, the order button switches off by itself, and the customer sees it's sold out before clicking anything. If you like, the same page can also say “ready for pickup today” for people in town. Once you approve it, you have a single round of revisions, the store usually starts within a few days, and the first week after launch, that is 7 days, is under warranty. We work from Cluj-Napoca, with no travel, and keep in touch on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

I don't want everyone to see exactly how many pieces I have. Can I show only that the product is available?+

Yes. You can show the exact figure, only the status — available, last pieces, sold out — or a mix: the number appears only when fewer than, say, five remain. In the admin you see the real quantity, however you choose to display it. And anyone wanting several at once can't order more than you have.

I also keep goods in a warehouse, not just in the shop. How do I show the difference?+

We keep them separate. What's in the Târgu Jiu shop shows as available immediately, with same-day pickup; what's in the warehouse shows with the time it takes you to bring it in, two days for example. The customer chooses knowing exactly when they'll receive it, and you don't promise for today what arrives only the day after tomorrow.

Someone from Motru wants four identical pieces in the same shade. How do they know they'll find them?+

On the product page they choose the quantity, and the store checks on the spot whether that many pieces exist in the chosen variant. If you only have three, it tells them before they send the order, not after. For goods whose shade varies from batch to batch, we can list the batch as a separate variant, so nobody receives four pieces that don't match.

I keep my stock in an inventory program. How much extra does it cost to connect it to the store?+

It depends on the program: some export stock to a file or through a direct connection, others can't at all. We first look at what you use and tell you in writing whether it can be done and how much it adds to the store's price, before we start. If the connection isn't worth the money, the simple option remains: you take the piece off on your phone, in a few seconds.
