Online Store Website for Retailers in Zalău
In Zalău, a good shop is known by its shelves. A regular walks in, says hello and heads straight for the spot where they know their item sits, without asking anyone: you built that order yourself, over years, around what people in Zalău ask for. And many shops here don't sell a single kind of goods but a carefully chosen mix — one that makes sense in your shop and that you won't find in any manufacturer's catalogue.
When you put those goods online, that order is the first thing to go if you let a template lead. At MPO Web Studio we build online stores for retailers in Zalău and across Sălaj County starting from the way your shop is laid out, not from the off-the-shelf menu everyone gets.

Zalău's shops carry a little of everything, for a reason
Tucked at the foot of the Meseș Mountains, Zalău is a town where a neighbourhood shop is rarely just stationery, just gifts or just homeware. Next to the exercise books you find toys and wrapping paper; next to the paint, garden tools and seeds — because that is what the people who walk through the door ask for, and because a town this size doesn't support a crowd of narrow shops, each selling one kind of thing. The mix isn't disorder. It's your memory of what Zalău buys, gathered at the counter year after year. A regular understands it without explanation. Someone reaching you for the first time, from another part of town or from a village in Sălaj, has no way to understand it — unless the online store shows them the same logic a customer sees when they step inside.
Whoever comes from Jibou or Șimleu walks in through a page, not the door
A long-standing customer walks in through the door and takes in the whole shelf at a glance. Someone from Jibou, Șimleu Silvaniei or Cehu Silvaniei, who rarely gets to Zalău, discovers you differently: they search for one specific thing and land directly on its page, without passing through the store's front page and without seeing what else you keep alongside it. At the counter, the shop assistant would have shown them the shelf neighbours out of reflex — the wrapping paper next to the toy, the gloves next to the garden tools. Online, that pairing is lost unless someone puts it there. That's why, on each product's page, we show a few things from the same shelf, chosen by you, not guessed by a program, so that the person who came for a single item leaves, just as in the shop, with one more. Your mix thus gets to work for people who have never set foot in your shop, too.
We draw your store's menu from your shelves
The first thing we ask you for isn't a price list but a few photos of your shelves, as they stand today. From them we build the store's menu: your groups, under the names you use, in the order a customer walks them from the door to the back of the shop. A product that sits in two places in your shop — a gift set that is also a toy, say — appears in both categories without you entering it twice. Only then do we add filters and search, for whoever comes looking for one specific thing. On that structure we build a free demo with a few real products and send it to you on WhatsApp: you browse it like a regular and tell us where you don't recognise your shop. Then comes a single round of revisions, and the store goes live within a few days, with a 7-day warranty. We're in Cluj-Napoca, the neighbouring county, but we work fully remotely, so you never close for an hour on our account.
Frequently asked questions
My shop sells things that have nothing to do with each other. How do I put them online without it looking like a flea market?+
We group them the way you group them on your shelves, not according to someone else's manual. If your stationery sits next to the toys, that's how they sit online too, under a category name anyone in Zalău understands rather than one translated from a template. A visible order makes the mix look chosen, not random — and a chosen mix is exactly why people come back to you.
I rearrange my shelves a few times a year. Can I move products from one category to another myself?+
Yes. From the admin panel you move a product into another group, rename a category or change its place in the menu, and the store updates on the spot. You don't need to write to us for that. At handover we walk you through it once, using your own shelves as the example, so you know where everything is done.
My shelves hold dozens of small groups. On a phone screen, won't the menu turn into an endless list?+
Not if we arrange it in levels. On the phone, the main groups appear first, the way the customer sees them from the door, and a tap opens what each one contains; the subgroups aren't all lined up at once. We keep your order, and the two or three most requested groups come first, like the shelf next to the entrance. On a computer, the same menu can open out more widely, without changing its order.
Does the number of categories affect the total, or only how many products we upload at the start?+
What the store has to do — filters, variants, delivery, payment — counts for more than the number of categories: a few extra groups barely change the work. The products uploaded at the start only come into it if we're the ones adding all of them; otherwise we start with a handful and you add the rest yourself. We put the total in writing before we start, broken down by what we build.
