Guesthouse Website Design in Bistrița, for Guests Who Come Back

Through Bistrița run the roads that climb toward the Tihuța Pass and then drop down to Vatra Dornei and Bucovina, the ones that go by way of Năsăud to Maramureș, and those that cross from Moldavia toward the west of the country. Many do not make the trip just once: they repeat it the next summer, at the holidays or every time they come home. On warm weekends add the families heading up to Lake Colibița and the Bârgău Mountains.

For a guesthouse here, that means last year's guest can also be this year's. They remember the room, the yard, what was on the breakfast table. What they usually lack is a direct way back to you, one they can find without starting the search all over again.

The same road, travelled again every year

Someone leaving for Bucovina in the afternoon reaches Bistrița toward evening and would rather sleep here than climb in the dark toward Tihuța, the pass Bram Stoker's novel calls the Borgo Pass. On the way back they do the same, in reverse. Someone crossing the country from Moldavia needs a safe stop halfway and, if they slept well, they keep it. Families who liked Colibița come back the following summer, and foreigners who have read the book come to see the town it calls Bistritz. They all share something rare for a guesthouse: reasons to pass this way again. The only open question is which way they book on the second visit.

What someone who slept at your place once remembers

After a night at your place, the guest heads off toward Tihuța knowing very little about the house. They remember the hosts, the view from the window, the room upstairs, maybe the name of the village, and only rarely the guesthouse's name spelled correctly. A few days later, coming back from Bucovina, or a year later, when they make the trip again, they have to find a house they know only from memory. They type into their phone the half of it they still remember and look for something they recognise at a glance: the same hosts, the same room, the same view. If they don't see them, they stop at the first lit-up sign along the road, and your room stays empty on the very night that guest was looking for you. To find you again, they need a page that looks like their memory, not a list of facilities.

Last year's room, with its own link

The free demo we prepare for you starts from the person who has already slept at your place. The guesthouse name appears exactly as it does on the gate, so even someone who half-remembers it can find it. Each room has its own address, so a guest can write “I want the upstairs room again, like last year” and send you its link directly. The WhatsApp button opens with a message meant for returning guests, so the conversation picks up where it left off. The best test: send the demo to a loyal guest and ask whether they recognise their room. One of our finished accommodation sites lives at /demo/turism. We start from 290€, the site is online in a few days, one round of revisions comes with the price, and any problem in the first 7 days after launch is ours to fix, at no cost. We talk on WhatsApp, and nobody has to travel between Cluj-Napoca and your gate.

Frequently asked questions

Guests heading to Bucovina aren't sure which day they'll come back. How do I get them to stop at my place on the way back too?+

Offer them the return night on the morning they leave, not when they arrive. As they set off toward Tihuța, send them on WhatsApp the link to the room they slept in and one simple line: “if you come back this way, message us a day ahead”. The guest heads into Bucovina with your address on their phone, not just the memory of your gate, and once they know the day they'll return, they write straight to you, in the conversation they already have open.

I keep a notebook with the phone numbers of guests from past years. Can I send all of them the link to the site?+

You can write personally, as you would to acquaintances, to those you have already talked with and who asked you to let them know. For messages sent to many people at once, the law requires their consent. That is why we add a tick box to the request form on the site, where guests say they want to hear when you have rooms, so your list grows cleanly from now on.

Returning guests ask me whether anything has changed: renovated rooms, a different breakfast. How do I show them?+

With a line of news on the first page that you change yourself from your phone: the new bathroom upstairs, the covered terrace, the refurbished room. New photos go next to the room they belong to. For someone who has been before, that is an invitation to return; for a first-timer, it is a sign the place is cared for and alive.

I want guests to be able to ask for a room by name, with its own link. Is that included in the starting price?+

Yes. In the starting version, from 290€, the rooms sit on the same page, but each has its own direct link that you send on WhatsApp: whoever opens it lands right on the upstairs room. If you want a full page for each room, the amount goes up, and you see the difference written in the offer before we start. The site is paid for once; every year only the domain and hosting remain.
