Website Design for Guesthouses in Deva
Deva has its citadel right above the town, yet the people who sleep here rarely stop at that alone. In the morning they head for Castelul Corvinilor, the castle at Hunedoara, for the Dacian fortresses in the Orăștie Mountains, for Țara Hațegului or for Prislop Monastery, and they come back in the evening with plenty of steps in their legs and dust on the car. For them, your guesthouse is the place they set out from and return to, two or three days running.
That changes how they choose. The room matters, but it fills only part of the day. The rest is about where they sit in the evening, what time breakfast is ready before a long drive, where they leave the car, what they do if it rains. MPO Web Studio makes sites for guesthouses that also show what lies beyond the bedroom door.

A town you leave each morning for somewhere else
From Deva, a lot of places worth seeing lie within a day's drive. Castelul Corvinilor is close, the Dacian fortresses take a whole day and some climbing on foot, Țara Hațegului gathers the church at Densuș, Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa and Prislop, and people head to Geoagiu-Băi for the warm water. A guest who comes for all of this doesn't stay one night; they plan two or three days and look for a house from which to take them in turn. For them, the distance to each matters less than coming back to the same place each evening, finding their things where they left them and not packing again. A guesthouse in Deva is chosen not as a bed for a night but as a base camp.
The day nobody wants to go anywhere
A three-day plan around Deva nearly always has one day that doesn't go as planned: it rains in the mountains, someone is tired, the children refuse the car. Then the guest stays in town and looks for what's close: climbs up to the citadel, visits the museum of Dacian and Roman civilisation in the Magna Curia building, walks through the park below the citadel hill. And on the other evenings, after a day on the road, they don't want to go anywhere: they want a seat outside, a table and some quiet. Hosts in Deva who take in guests like these know that a good part of the stay happens at their place, not in the room and not at the sights, and that this part is the hardest to fit into an accommodation listing.
What the guest finds once they step out of the room
With us, the room takes up one page of the site, not the whole story. Next to it we put what the guest lives through the rest of the day: the yard and the spot where people sit in the evening, the room where breakfast is served and the time it's ready, the parking, the corner where boots dry after a rainy day, if you have one. Then a page called “From our gate”, written from what you know: where people go for a day, what to do when it rains, where to eat well in town. The photos are yours; we work on the texts together over WhatsApp. The demo costs you nothing and already has your guesthouse in it; as a reference, /demo/turism holds a tourism site we brought to its final form. If you want to keep yours, costs start at 290€ with one round of revisions built in. The site is online within days, and for the first 7 days afterwards we fix whatever misbehaves. You stay at your gate with your guests; the team works from Cluj-Napoca.
Frequently asked questions
I'm not a tour guide. Can I still write on the site what there is to see around Deva without getting it wrong?+
You can, if you write only what you know. We start from the places you've been and what your guests tell you when they come back: how you'd get there, how long you'd stay, what to bring. We don't copy opening hours or ticket prices; we link to each sight's official page instead, so nothing outdated is left sitting on yours.
My rooms are simple, but I have a big yard and a terrace. Can the yard come before the rooms?+
Yes, and sometimes that's simply more honest. If your guests spend their evenings outside, the front page can open with the yard and the terrace, with the rooms right after, shown cleanly and without looking like more than they are. Someone out at the fortresses all day may well choose by the place where they rest in the evening.
Guests stay with me for three nights and leave at the crack of dawn every day. What do I write about their room while they're out?+
What happens to it in their absence: whether you clean daily or only on request, when you change the towels, whether anyone enters the room without letting them know. Someone who leaves a backpack, a charger or wet clothes on a chair wants to know this before the first departure. One clear line spares them worrying about what they left behind, and spares you the same question asked every morning at the gate.
Besides the rooms, I want a page for the yard and one on what to see nearby. What does that put on top of the starting sum?+
The starting sum is 290€, paid a single time, for the site with the rooms, the booking request, WhatsApp and publishing, with a round of revisions and a week of warranty after launch on top. Each extra page carries its own price, which you see in writing in the offer before any work starts, so you know exactly what the yard page and the surroundings page add.
