Website for a guesthouse in Reșița, with every holiday package explained
A guesthouse calendar in Reșița fills up in leaps. A few quiet weeks, then suddenly every room requested for the same nights: Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter, May Day, Pentecost. Many guests come from the Banat plain, from Timișoara or the towns around it, and drive up towards Văliug, Crivaia, Secu or Semenic for a few days in which they don't want to cook or look for anything.
For those days people don't book a room. They book a package: a number of nights, some meals, a festive evening, maybe a sledge ride for the children. And they want to know beforehand exactly what they get, point by point. On booking platforms your package looks like any other night, only pricier. On the phone you describe it countless times in December, a little differently each time, and something always slips through.

Every holiday brings a different guest
At Christmas, families come up with grandparents and children and want a long table and a quiet evening. At New Year, groups of friends arrive and ask about music, how late they can stay in the dining room and how long they can sleep the next day. At Easter, the Catholic and Orthodox dates sometimes fall in different weeks, and a guesthouse in Banat may host guests for both. For May Day and Pentecost, people want the lakes at Văliug and Secu, the barbecue and a walk by the water. Each holiday has its own people and its own list of questions. A single listing can't speak to all of them at once, and a vague line such as “holiday packages, details by phone” sends everyone to call you in exactly the weeks when you have the least time.
New Year on Semenic can't be sold on snow
Anyone who has seen a few winters here knows that snow on Semenic doesn't come to order. Some New Year's Eves are white, others aren't. If your winter package leans only on the ski slope, it becomes hard to defend in the snowless years, and the guest who paid a deposit in November feels cheated. The package that holds up is the one that says plainly what you get regardless: the nights, the meals, dinner on the last evening of the year, the fire in the fireplace if you have one, the walk to the lake, games for the children, and only then what's added if it snows. The person from Timișoara choosing between three guesthouses on the road to the mountain takes the one that doesn't promise the weather. The same reasoning applies at Easter or on May Day, when rain can move the barbecue under a roof: a good package stands up in bad weather too.
Christmas, New Year, Easter: one page each, with everything it includes
In the demo we prepare for you free of charge, each holiday package has its own page. At the top, the dates and the number of nights. Then day by day: what's served at each meal, what happens on the festive evening, what's ready for the children. Separately, what isn't in the package and is paid on request, plus the booking conditions in plain words. When a family debates in its WhatsApp group whether to spend Christmas with you, you send a single link and everyone reads the same thing. After the holiday the page is hidden; next year you reopen it with new dates and a new menu without starting over. A complete tourism site of ours stays open at /demo/turism. We start from 290€ and publish in a few days; the price covers one round of revisions, and 7 days of warranty run from launch. Our team sits in Cluj-Napoca and the whole collaboration runs online.
Frequently asked questions
I only sell New Year for a minimum of three nights. Where do I put that so I stop explaining it on every call?+
Right at the top of the New Year page, next to the dates, not hidden at the bottom. We also say why: the festive dinner, the long day after, departure only after New Year's Day. Anyone who wants less sees the rule in the first second and doesn't call, and anyone who calls already knows the terms and only asks whether you still have room.
In November everyone asks me whether there'll be snow on Semenic. What do I write on the winter package page?+
The truth: that you don't know and don't promise. Then what the guest gets whatever the weather, and what's added if it snows, such as sledging or a trip to the slope. We help you word it so it doesn't sound like an excuse. People remember the host who didn't sell them snow, and it shows in what they write after they leave.
Some of my guests keep Catholic Easter and others Orthodox Easter. Can I have two packages in the same year?+
Yes. Two pages with different dates, each with its own meal and customs, and in the years when both fall on the same Sunday you merge them into one. You don't have to pick a single audience. Each guest goes straight to the package for their own Easter, with what goes on the table and, if you like, the nearest church.
I want three packages, so three pages. Do I pay for each one, or are they all in the starting amount?+
It depends on how the site is built. The starting version, from 290€, can hold the packages as sections of one page. If you want a separate page for each, with its own link to send on WhatsApp, the amount goes up, and you get the full figure before work begins. You see the demo for free either way.
