Website for a Restaurant or Café in Deva, with Direct Orders

In Deva, for many people your restaurant looks exactly as big as the delivery app lets it: a small photo, a name and a button, just like every other place on the list. Locals who order in the evening know your pizza or your soup, but not the terrace facing the citadel hill, nor the dining room where you seat a whole family on Sundays.

At the same time, Deva draws people who never order to the door: those who climb up to the citadel, or who have seen Corvin Castle and want somewhere for dinner. MPO Web Studio builds websites for the restaurants and cafés here that welcome both, directly, with no middleman, and we make your mockup for free so you can compare it with your page in the app.

How it works

  1. 1We build you a free demo of your site
  2. 2You tell us what to change
  3. 3You pay only if you love it

What doesn't fit in the app's little tile

Your page in the delivery app was designed for one thing only: food packed in a box and taken to a door. Everything else stays outside, including the people who have kept your place open for years. A Deva local who knows you only from there takes you for a kitchen that delivers, even though you also host family meals. The site puts the rest in view: photos of the dining room and the terrace, weekend hours, a number they can call you on directly and a booking for Sunday lunch. The app keeps its role; the site shows there's a real restaurant behind it.

Visitors coming down from the citadel don't order to the door

Deva has something the delivery apps don't see: people who come for what surrounds the city. They climb to the citadel on the hill, stop at Corvin Castle in Hunedoara or head for the Dacian fortresses in the Orăștie Mountains, and those sleeping in Deva look for somewhere to eat in the evening. They don't have your app installed and wouldn't use it anyway: they want a table, not a box at the door. What they find is your site, if you have one: how far you are on foot from the foot of the hill, until what time you seat guests, whether you have room for a group of eight, what kind of cooking you do. For them, the site is the only place you exist: the delivery app doesn't even tell them you have tables.

Put the mockup next to your page in the app

We don't ask you to take our word that a site of your own looks different. We build your mockup for free, starting from our demo for food venues at /demo/horeca but with your venue inside it, not a template: the name, the real menu, photos of your dining room and your plates. Then you open it on your phone next to your listing in the delivery app and look at both as a customer would. In one, you're a tile lined up with the others; in the other, the first screen is yours, with table booking and direct ordering in plain view. If the difference doesn't convince you, we stop there. If it does, we start from €290 for a one-page site with your menu, hours and booking and ordering buttons via WhatsApp or phone; if you want a more elaborate order or booking form, we tell you in writing, in advance, what it adds. Then come a few days to launch, one round of revisions included, and a 7-day guarantee once the site is live.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I compare when I put the mockup next to my app page?+

What someone who doesn't know you sees in the first few seconds. In the app: a photo, a rating and a delivery time, laid out exactly like everyone else's. In the mockup: your venue, your menu and the two paths, one to a table and one to an order. Then look at how many steps it takes to place an order in each, and whether the tourist coming down from the citadel learns from either of them that people can also sit down and eat at your place. Wherever the mockup comes off worse, tell us, and we fix it in the included round of revisions.

Many tourists sleep in Deva and spend the day at Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. How do they find out about us before they come back?+

Often through their host. Guesthouses and hotels in Deva regularly get asked where to eat well, and a link sent to a phone travels further than a name mentioned in passing. Give the hosts nearby your site's link: while still at the castle, the tourist sees your menu, your hours and how far it is from their accommodation to your door. We write only real distances; we won't present you as “near the castle” if you're in Deva, because someone who arrives with that expectation stops believing the rest of the page too.

The terrace only has a view of the citadel from a few tables. Can I show it on the site?+

Yes, as long as we say exactly how it is. You take the photos from the tables where the citadel really is visible, and we write on the site which ones they are, so someone booking for the view asks for the right table. We won't put a shot of the citadel taken from the roof on the front page if the tables only see a corner of the hill: the tourist who has just come down from the citadel checks on the spot.

In the app I only listed the dishes that survive delivery. Do I put the whole menu on the site?+

Yes, and it's one of the differences you notice when you put the two pages side by side. The site also carries the dishes you serve only at the table, clearly marked as such, so nobody orders them to go and gets them cold. For anyone who knows you only from the app, it's the first sign that people actually eat at your place, not just order from it.
