Website for a Restaurant or Café in Miercurea Ciuc, from Pentecost to January Frost
In Miercurea Ciuc, a restaurant's year has a rhythm of its own. Winter comes early and leaves late, so the terrace lives for only a few months, and the rest of the time people look for a warm room and a hot soup. Then, at Pentecost, the pilgrimage to Șumuleu Ciuc fills the town for a few days with visitors, many from Hungary, who know no local places and want to find out fast where there's a free table or food to take away. Between those peaks, the dining room belongs to regulars who already know your cooking.
Whether you run a restaurant, café or bistro in Miercurea Ciuc, MPO Web Studio builds you a website that changes with the season and brings you bookings and orders without the detour through delivery apps.

How it works
- 1We build you a free demo of your site
- 2You tell us what to change
- 3You pay only if you love it
Pentecost weekend, with the town full of guests
The pilgrimage to Șumuleu Ciuc brings coaches, families and groups of friends into town, some from far away, and nearly all of them search on their phones, on the same morning, for somewhere to eat. The room fills quickly, the phone rings nonstop and you can't answer every call with your hands full. A site prepared in advance takes some of the pressure off: it announces your hours for those days, a short takeaway menu and the time each order can be collected. Whoever ordered ahead comes, pays and leaves, and the table stays free for those who want to sit down. After the holiday, the page goes back to normal.
In winter, the town goes out to the hockey, not onto the terrace
The Ciuc Depression is one of the coldest places in the country, but the cold doesn't keep the town indoors. In Miercurea Ciuc hockey has a long tradition, and on match nights the stands of the Vákár Lajos rink fill up with locals. After the final siren, many of them look for a warm room where they can go over the game with a soup or a stew. A site that shows exactly that in winter, the indoor room, the seasonal dishes and a table you can book for after the match, tells the fan in the stands, already during the intermission, where to go next.
The mockup waits for you until after the last order
We know you have no time for meetings at lunch or dinner, and in the morning you're already out buying supplies. So we don't ask for meetings. We build a mockup for your venue on /demo/horeca, with its name and its dishes, not a template, and leave the link for you on WhatsApp. You open it in the evening, after closing, when the kitchen goes quiet, go through it at your own pace and write everything you'd like changed in a single message: that's the one round of revisions included. The price starts at 290€, the site is online a few days after you give us the green light, and if anything fails to work as agreed during the first 7 days, we put it right, no arguments.
Frequently asked questions
On Pentecost weekend we can't keep up with the calls. Can we also sell takeaway food, ordered in advance, without jamming the kitchen?+
Yes. For those days we put a short takeaway menu and pickup slots on the site, and each slot only takes as many orders as you know you can cook. When one fills up, the customer picks the next. Orders reach you in writing, with the time and name, and the rest of the year the page can stay hidden.
We only open the terrace for a few months a year. How do we stop people coming for it in winter?+
The terrace appears on the front page only while it's open. In the cold months the indoor room takes its place, with seasonal dishes, and the hours show what applies that day. You switch from one version to the other with a single setting, without rewriting anything.
What should I check first when I open the mockup in the evening, after closing?+
What only you know. Whether the winter and summer hours are right, whether the dishes on the menu still come out of your kitchen, and whether the Pentecost takeaway menu has quantities you can really cook on those days. The rest, meaning the wording, the order of the sections and how it looks on a phone, you can leave to us.
We buy our cheese and meat from producers in the Ciuc area. Is it worth naming them on the site?+
Yes, if they agree. A short section on where the ingredients come from tells locals something they recognise, and gives visitors from elsewhere a concrete reason to choose a kitchen that tastes of this place. The producer's name, their village and what they bring you are enough, with no made-up stories.
