Website for Your Restaurant or Café in Târgu Jiu

Since Brâncuși's monumental ensemble joined the UNESCO World Heritage list, Târgu Jiu also draws people from other countries who travel specifically for the Table of Silence, the Gate of the Kiss and the Endless Column. Many plan their day the evening before, lunch included, and read a venue's menu as closely as the plaques in the park.

For a restaurant, café or bistro here, the menu on your site is the first impression of your kitchen: both for the visitor who wants to know what's on the plate and for the Gorj local who knows exactly how a dish should turn out. MPO Web Studio builds websites where the menu is written together with your kitchen, and bookings and pickup orders come straight to you. You see the mockup for free, before you decide anything.

Lunch between the Table of Silence and the Column

A Brâncuși visitor walks the route on foot, from the park on the bank of the Jiu, through the Gate of the Kiss and along the Heroes' Avenue to the Column, and lunch has to fit in somewhere along the way. For them the question isn't only what to eat, but where you are in relation to the axis: near the park, towards the Column or off to one side, and whether they can easily get back to the car afterwards. On your site they see this at a glance, with the walk from the axis to your door, and they can request a table the evening before for the time they expect to finish the tour. You confirm, and they set off knowing where they'll stop. For a venue in central Târgu Jiu, that means tables filled by people who would otherwise have walked into whatever place they stumbled on.

19 February, the day the town celebrates its sculptor

In winter, Brâncuși's axis is quiet, with one exception: 19 February, the sculptor's birthday. Around that date, Târgu Jiu hosts events dedicated to him, and people from outside town turn up in the centre in a month that is otherwise calm for restaurants. Those who come specifically for that day look for a lunch spot in advance and want to know whether you're open, what you serve and whether they can book. A site that announces your hours for those days early, perhaps with a dish prepared for the occasion, catches a high-season day in the middle of winter. For the people of Gorj who come to the events with their families, the same notice is an invitation to a meal afterwards.

Your head chef reads the mockup before your guests do

On a restaurant website, the hardest thing to fix after launch is the menu: a wrong portion weight, a dish that no longer leaves the kitchen, an allergen missing from a description, a price left over from last year. That's why the free mockup, built on our HoReCa demo but with your dishes and your venue's name, goes to your head chef first. They read every dish name and every description, tell us what doesn't match, and their notes go into the included round of revisions. It's one round of revisions, so the notes are worth gathering carefully. Only then does the site reach your guests: within a few days, from €290, with a 7-day guarantee from publication. We talk on WhatsApp, at the kitchen's pace, not ours.

Frequently asked questions

Visitors who come for Brâncuși plan their day from home. Can they book lunch a day ahead?+

Yes. They send the request the evening before, with the date, a rough time and how many people, and you confirm it when you have a quiet moment. The confirmation reaches them in writing, with the address and the time, so they don't need to call you the next day to double-check.

My head chef wants allergens listed correctly next to every dish. Who is responsible for them?+

The information comes from your kitchen, not from us. We place it next to each dish with easy-to-recognise symbols, and the chef checks it on the mockup before launch. We never fill anything in by guesswork: if a dish is missing its information, we leave it flagged until you send it.

We'd like a special menu for 19 February. Can we keep it on the site for just a few days?+

Yes. We set it up as a separate section that you make visible a week before and hide afterwards, with a single setting. The head chef checks it on the mockup like the rest of the menu, so the names and portion weights are right from day one.

Families with small children also come to us after the walk along the axis. Is it worth saying on the site what we have for them?+

It is, because that's exactly how parents choose where to stop. A line about children's portions, a high chair or room for a pushchair saves them a phone call, and in the booking request they can note that they're coming with a small child, so you have the high chair ready. We only write what you actually have; your kitchen confirms it on the mockup.
