Website for a Gym or Fitness Studio in Drobeta-Turnu Severin

Drobeta-Turnu Severin has the Danube at the end of its streets and a mild climate, with springs that come early and autumns in no hurry to leave. For much of the year the riverside promenade fills up on fine evenings: some people run, some walk along the water, some sit on a bench facing the Serbian bank. For a studio that runs classes, this changes how decisions get made. People don't plan their week on Sunday; around five in the afternoon they look at the sky and the river and only then decide whether to head for the promenade or come to the six-thirty class.

At that hour, your coach is usually in the middle of the class before and can't answer the phone. And someone who has called once and reached nobody doesn't call a second time: they go for a walk. For gyms and studios in Severin — CrossFit, yoga, Pilates, functional training — MPO Web Studio builds websites where a place in a class is taken straight from the page, in the same few minutes in which the decision is made.

How it works

  1. 1We build you a free demo of your site
  2. 2You tell us what to change
  3. 3You pay only if you love it

In Severin, the evening class is chosen by the sky above the Danube

Here, training fits around the weather, not the calendar. Someone who comes to your Tuesday class doesn't know on Monday whether they'll make it: they decide on Tuesday, around five, depending on what the sky looks like. If the afternoon is clear and warm, part of the six-thirty group stays on the promenade; if it clouds over and starts to drizzle, the class fills up in less than an hour. For you, this means the timetable isn't read on Sunday evening over coffee, but in the last hours before the class, on a phone, during a work break or in a car park. And what people look for then is very little: which class starts in the next hour, who leads it, whether there's still room and how to put their name on the list without calling anyone. If all four fit on a phone screen, they come. If one is missing, they stay on the promenade.

In summer, people heading for the Cazane gorges knock on the studio door too

Severin is the town many people pass through on their way to the Cazane gorges of the Danube, and in summer you feel it at the studio. You get messages from people staying two or three nights in town who want a single yoga class after a day on the water, or from a group of friends who heard you run CrossFit and want to try it once. They're welcome, but they bring a question every studio owner knows: whose mat is it at Thursday's class? If a visitor takes the place of a member who has been coming for two years, you've gained one entry and put a membership at risk. The right rule is written clearly on the page: members keep their place in their usual classes, and whatever is left can also be taken for a single session, at a price shown next to it. The visitor doesn't feel turned away, the member doesn't feel replaced. And among those who come once there are also Severin locals who have never set foot in a studio: next to the price of one class, show what they'd get with a membership, so the trial has somewhere to lead.

You run the class, the page runs the list

A phone ringing in the middle of a set of squats is a lost sign-up: you don't answer, they don't try again. That's why the mockup of your Severin studio starts from the timetable, and every class in it has its own sign-up button. The person picks the day and time, leaves their name and number, and sees on screen straight away that the request has arrived. You never pick up the phone during a class: between two sessions you check the list and know who's coming to the next one. In the basic version, each sign-up reaches you in writing, with the class, the day and the person's name. If you'd like places to be counted automatically, sign-up to close when a group is full and a waiting list, that's an extra feature, and you get the price for it in writing before we start. You can judge the level right now on the demo gym at /demo/fitness; your mockup starts from there, but with your classes, coaches and prices. Tell us once what you'd like changed, and the corrections go into a single round of revisions. You pay after you've seen it working: the starting price is 290€, the site is online within a few days, and from launch day you have a 7-day guarantee. We work remotely from Cluj-Napoca and talk on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Some people sign up for the six-thirty class and then, if the sun comes out, stay on the promenade. How do I avoid places held for nothing?+

Make cancelling as easy as signing up. Next to each class's button, write the rule in short — “if you can't make it, let us know by four o'clock” — and how to do it, with a single message. If you choose the version with counted places, a freed place passes automatically to the first person on the waiting list. Also put on the page what happens to people who don't show up without notice, for example that after two no-shows they can only book at reception. Said in advance, the rule is respected; said afterwards, it sounds like a telling-off.

The people who run on the promenade have their own WhatsApp groups. Can I send them just the Saturday morning class, not the whole timetable?+

Yes. Each class gets its own address, which you copy and send anywhere. Whoever opens it sees the time, the coach, what's being worked on and the sign-up button straight away, without searching through the whole week's timetable. And in the chat, the link shows up with the class name and time, not as a string of letters. It's the simplest way for a member to bring a friend: no more describing it, they just send the class.

In CrossFit, some summer visitors tell me they've been training for years. Can I ask anyone new to do an induction session before the regular classes?+

You can, and it's easier to say on the site than at the door. We write clearly that for anyone new to your studio the first step is the induction session, with the days it runs, and why: the coach wants to see how the person moves before putting them in a group that works with weights. In every regular class, next to the sign-up button, a short line sends newcomers to the induction. A rule written for everyone offends nobody; the only one that offends is the rule you discover at reception, bag in hand.

Do I pay something for every person who signs up, the way booking apps charge?+

No. You pay for building the site, not for sign-ups: there's no commission from us per class or per person, however full your timetable gets. We start from 290€, and if you want counted places and a waiting list, we tell you in advance what that feature adds. Also before we start, you find out what renews yearly, such as the domain and hosting. The domain is registered in your name.
