Website Design for Gyms and Fitness Studios in Focșani
Every September, Focșani takes in a wave of teenagers from all over the county who come to town for high school. Some commute every day. Others stay through the week in a school dormitory, in a rented room or with a relative, and only head home on Friday. That second group gets something commuting never gives: whole afternoons in town, on their own schedule. And one of the first things they search for on their phones, once they have found a bed, is a gym they can walk to.
For a gym or studio in Focșani, this teenager is not a one-day visitor. If they feel at home, they stay from autumn until the summer holidays, sometimes even after the baccalaureate. On one condition: the website has to answer, at first glance, both their own questions and the ones their parents will ask. At MPO Web Studio we build gym websites that put both in plain sight.

When Vrancea comes to Focșani for high school
They arrive on Sunday evening with a bag of clothes and food from home, and on Friday at noon they catch the bus back. From Monday to Thursday, after the last class, they have a few hours entirely to themselves. A student living in the dorm has no car and no patience for buses; their gym is the one they can reach on foot while it is still light. When they search, they look at three things: how close it is to the school or the dorm, whether the door is open exactly when classes end, and whether there is a price they can manage out of pocket money. For you, this group has a rare advantage: they come in the afternoon, usually the quietest hours of the day, and they stay members for months, not for one evening.
Rules for under-18s, written once instead of negotiated at the door
Teenagers bring a question that a gym with only adult members never has to ask: from what age do you accept someone, and on what terms? Many owners settle it at the front desk, case by case, which leaves room for misunderstandings. On the website you state it clearly, for everyone: the age from which someone can train, what consent you need from a parent and how it reaches you, whether the first sessions must be with a coach, which machines stay off-limits for the youngest. Written calmly, without the tone of a rulebook, these rules frighten no one; quite the opposite. A mother reading them in the evening, in her village below the mountains, understands that her son is not walking into a place left to chance. And you stop explaining the same thing to every newcomer.
The mockup first has to pass the dorm student's test
You don't get an offer to read; you get your gym, already laid out on the page. The base is the gym demo already running at /demo/fitness, filled in with your name, hours and memberships, so there's no template in front of you. Before we show it to you, we go through it the way a teenager who has just moved into a dorm would, on a small-screen phone with mobile data running low. Can they tell straight away how far it is on foot from school? Can they see what time you open in the afternoon? Do they understand what paper they need to bring from home? Wherever they stumble, we fix it before the link reaches you on WhatsApp. You tell us what you don't like, and we gather the adjustments into one single round of revisions. You pay when you're happy: the cost starts at 290€, launch comes within a few days, and the guarantee runs for 7 days after it. We're in Cluj-Napoca; you don't have to travel anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Some of my members are over fifty and steer clear of a gym full of teenagers. How do I reassure them through the website?+
With the hours, not the photos. The high-school students have a schedule you know in advance: they come after the last class, Monday to Thursday, and go home on Friday at noon. Put it on the page as information, not as a warning: in the afternoon, until early evening, the gym is full of students; in the morning and after seven in the evening it's quiet, and on Friday afternoon and Saturday you hardly see any teenagers. If you like, turn the mornings into a window for adults, with a class at their pace. The fifty-year-old no longer has to guess: they pick the hour when the gym is theirs.
Many of the girls from the dorms won't walk into a gym full of boys. Is it worth running a group just for them and putting it on the site?+
It is, if you can keep it going consistently. We put it on the timetable like any other class, with its days and time — ideally right after school, so they're not late back to the dorm —, with the name of whoever leads it and a line about what's worked on. Next to the rules for minors we add that the group exists: for a mother reading at home, it's one more reason to say yes. If one semester you don't have enough sign-ups, you take it off the timetable without touching the rest.
Young people come to me to prepare for the fitness tests at military or police academies. Is a section just for them worth it?+
It is. It's a very precise search, and whoever makes it knows what they want: a programme built around the tests, with a fixed deadline. We give it its own section, with the tests you train for, when preparation usually starts and how you track progress from week to week. We don't promise admission on the site; we say honestly what you do in the gym, and that is enough for the people who need it to get in touch.
I only want one page: opening hours, the student membership and the rules for minors. What does the option from 290€ include?+
Exactly that, well arranged: your weekly schedule, the memberships with the student price in plain view, the rules for minors, your coaches and a message button that is visible without scrolling. If in a year you want separate pages for classes or for admission-test preparation, we add them on top without redoing what's already there. You get the exact amount in writing before any work starts, and the mockup stays free either way.
