Website for a Car Repair and Tyre Shop in Giurgiu, Ready Before Winter

Giurgiu is where the road out of Bucharest reaches the Danube and crosses the Friendship Bridge to Ruse. A repair shop here sees cars coming from both ends of that road: people who drive north on the DN5 every morning to an office in the capital, families crossing the bridge to Bulgaria or Greece with a full boot, and drivers coming home with a new noise that started somewhere on the other side of the river.

Whichever of them it is, before pulling up at your gate they search for “car repair Giurgiu” and choose based on what they find written there. MPO Web Studio builds the website they find. You see it first as a mock-up, free of charge, and only then decide whether we go further.

How it works

  1. 1We build you a free demo of your site
  2. 2You tell us what to change
  3. 3You pay only if you love it

An hour from Bucharest, but not in its shadow

A Giurgiu local who works in Bucharest has big dealerships at every turn there, with a reception desk, a printed estimate and a message when the car is ready. Hence the temptation: “I'll leave it in Bucharest, they know what they're doing there.” Except that means a car kept far from home, a day of leave or yet another trip on the DN5. A Giurgiu workshop doesn't win this driver with a lower price quoted over the phone, but by showing him, before he comes, that he gets the same order here too: what gets checked first, how he is kept informed, who tells him which part needs replacing and what it costs. Once he sees that written down, the sums tip in your favour: the car stays close to home, and in the evening he collects it from you, not from the far end of Bucharest.

Across the bridge, the mechanic speaks another language

For anyone driving south, the bridge at Giurgiu separates two kinds of repair. On this side, a driver talks to the mechanic without detours and understands every line on the bill. On the other side, a trivial fault turns into a problem with translation, prices he can't judge and a holiday cut in half. That's why some want an extra look at the tyres, brakes or cooling on the eve of departure, while they're still at home. On the way back, someone who heard a new squeak somewhere in Bulgaria and gritted his teeth all the way to the border wants it sorted out right away, in his own language, instead of carrying the worry any further. And on days with a queue at the bridge, crawling along in the heat exposes lazy fans and tired clutches that the open road kept hidden.

Your website gets broken in during October, not in the week of the tyre queue

At a tyre shop, winter doesn't announce itself: one morning the windscreens are white, the whole street remembers its tyres, and the queue reaches the road. For a freshly launched website, that morning is the hardest test: dozens of people open it at once, on their phones, with the engine running. If a request sent from the website doesn't reach your phone, or the winter opening hours show up cut off on the small screen, you find out from the people who went round in circles for nothing. That's why we put it online a few weeks earlier, while few people are coming in yet: the mock-up, with your shop's name, what you do on tyres and on mechanics, your hours and the rule you follow for taking people in during the season, you get free of charge, and at /demo/service-auto you'll find a ready-made repair shop website as a reference. You send us your remarks in a single round of revisions, and the site is online within a few days, with prices from 290€. That way, the 7-day warranty after launch is used up on the calm customers of October: whatever doesn't work, we fix before the first queue, not in the middle of it.

Frequently asked questions

Customers used to dealerships ask me whether I fit original parts. What do I put on the website if I also work with equivalents?+

Write exactly how you choose: when you fit the original part, when an equivalent from a well-known manufacturer, and who decides between them. The simplest rule is to give the customer the choice before ordering, with the price difference stated openly. People coming from the dealership world aren't afraid of equivalent parts; they're afraid of finding out only afterwards what was fitted. When they see on the website that the choice stays theirs, the comparison with Bucharest no longer comes out in Bucharest's favour.

In winter I do tyres strictly first come, first served, no appointments. Won't it look unprofessional if I put that on the website?+

Quite the opposite, it looks honest. What's unprofessional is letting people believe they can book and then putting them in the queue. We state the rule as it is: in the cold season, tyre work goes in order of arrival, while mechanical jobs still run by appointment. If you know from experience the quieter hours of the day, we add those too; whoever can come then thins out the opening-time crowd for you.

In winter everyone knows me from the tyres, but few have found out I also do mechanical work. How do I bring them back for something else?+

Use the winter queue itself. Someone sitting in his car for twenty minutes at your gate, phone in hand, has time to read. Put a sign by the gate, where the queue stops, with the website address or a code he scans with his phone, and on the front page the mechanical work sits just as visibly as the tyres, with the jobs you actually do: brakes, suspension, timing belts, however you work. The man who hears a noise at the front in spring remembers what he read in the queue and already knows whom to call. You don't have to convince him that day, when you have ten other cars to get down off the jack.

If you show me the mock-up now but I want the site published only in November, when do I pay?+

The mock-up costs you nothing, however long it sits with you. You pay only when you decide to go ahead, and prices start from 290€; you know the exact amount beforehand, once we've agreed what goes into the site. You can set the mock-up aside and reply when you have a moment.
