Website for Car Repair and Diagnostics Shops in Târgoviște
Târgoviște was once the capital of Wallachia, and today it is the town the roads of northern Dâmbovița lead down to along the Ialomița. For a repair shop here, that has a very concrete meaning: through your gate comes a car belonging to a student at Valahia University, started in the morning with the engine light on, and also a car sent by a mechanic from Pucioasa or Fieni who did everything a spanner could do and stopped where the electronics begin.
Both stories start the same way: someone has to read what the car's computer says before taking any part off. If your workshop does that well, people need to know before they leave home what exactly you read, on which makes, and what they learn from a diagnostic. MPO Web Studio builds the website that tells them all this in plain words, and you see its mock-up for free.

When the valley mechanic sends the car to Târgoviște
Up the Ialomița valley, towards Pucioasa and Fieni, or out towards Moreni and Găești, there are capable mechanics who have kept their neighbours' cars on the road for years. Not all of them, though, have a scan tool for every make and every manufacturer's software. When an injection fault or an electronic module won't give in to a spanner, the honest mechanic tells the driver to take the car to Târgoviște, to someone with the equipment. That is where a worry comes in that people rarely say out loud: if he sends the customer to you, will he ever see him again? A website that states clearly that you handle the diagnostics and electronics, while the mechanical work you find can go back to the mechanic who referred him, puts that colleague in the valley at ease. He recommends you more readily, and you get exactly the jobs you bought the equipment for.
A code read on a phone is not yet a diagnosis
In a town with students and with commuters who drive to Bucharest every day, many drivers are used to looking for answers online on their own. So the driver sometimes arrives with the verdict already delivered: he bought a cheap code reader, plugged it into the socket under the steering wheel, the app showed him a code and the name of a part, and now he only wants you to fit it. Sometimes he is right. Often, though, the code shows where the computer noticed the problem, not where it starts: a “faulty” lambda sensor can turn out to be an air leak, and a “dead” sensor a corroded connector. On your website, a few lines in your own words explain what you do beyond the app: you watch live data on the road, check the wiring and test the component before condemning it. The student or commuter who has read this before coming understands why your diagnostic has a price and why it saves him from buying a part for nothing.
The mock-up comes like a scan report, with the lines to confirm flagged
When you hand a car back after a diagnosis, you don't give the customer everything the laptop read, but the lines that matter, flagged. That's how we send you the mock-up too. At /demo/service-auto you can already see what a website for your trade looks like; for your workshop we build the actual mock-up, with your name, the makes you read and the jobs you do. Wherever we weren't sure, we didn't guess in silence: we flagged the line, like a fault that needs confirming. How much does the diagnosis cost, and is it deducted from the repair? Do you also read automatic gearboxes, or only engine and ABS? Do you take cars sent by other workshops? You answer only the flagged lines, even while you're putting another car on the tester, and read the rest when you have time. All your comments go into the single round of revisions included. It all starts at 290 €, the site goes live after a few days of work, and the 7-day guarantee runs from launch day.
Frequently asked questions
I charge for diagnostics even when I find nothing serious. How do I put that without scaring people off?+
By saying what they get for that money. A line such as “the diagnostic includes reading the fault codes, checking live data on the road and an explanation you also receive in writing” changes the conversation: the customer is no longer paying for “found nothing”, but for the peace of mind that the car is fine. If you deduct the diagnostic from the bill when the repair stays with you, say so too; it's a good argument. You set the amount; we just place the explanation next to it.
A student left his car with me, but his father in another town makes the decision. How do I win him over?+
With what he can see from a distance. On the website he reads who you are, what equipment you have and how you work, and you send him, through his son, the diagnostic report and a photo of the part or connector in question. A parent who can't come to the workshop wants, above all, to know that nobody is taking advantage of his child. When the website, the report and your explanation all say the same thing, approval comes faster, and next time he sends his son straight back to you.
Mechanics in Pucioasa and Fieni who have no scan tool already send me people. Is it worth saying on the site that I work with them?+
It is, if they agree. A line saying you take cars referred by other workshops and that, after the diagnostic, the mechanical part can go back to the customer's own mechanic shows every colleague in the valley that you're not poaching his customers. Anyone who wants to appear by name is listed by name; the others are covered by the written rule. For them it becomes one more reason to give out your address rather than someone else's.
Some mechanics up the valley ask whether I can come up to them with the laptop, to Pucioasa or Fieni. Do I put that on the website?+
Only if you really do it and have worked out how. If you go up, we write on which days, how far you go and what you can do on the spot: reading the faults, clearing them after the repair, simple coding. Jobs that need your lift or a long test drive stay in Târgoviște. If you don't go up, we write that just as clearly, so no colleague promises a customer a visit you haven't agreed to. For the mechanic up the valley, a line like that means he can finish the job in his own workshop, and you gain a diagnosis without the car having to make the trip.
