Website for a Dental Practice in Reșița, with the Patient's Problem Written Down in Advance

Reșița has grown smaller since heavy industry stopped carrying the city, and many younger people have gone to find work in Timișoara or abroad. Those who stayed are often the ones who have worn a bridge, a crown or a denture for years, made decades ago. When one of them starts to give way, the patient calls the practice and says it the only way they can: “something popped out”, “it's rubbing on the bottom left”. The assistant writes down “check-up” and hopes she has picked the right slot.

For a dentist in Reșița, the gap between an appointment that fixes something and one that only postpones it often comes down to those few rushed words. MPO Web Studio builds websites for practices here where patients describe their problem in writing, answering the questions you would ask on the phone, and you read the request before giving them a time. The mock-up, with your practice's name on it, is free.

Old dental work, explained on the phone in a handful of words

Many people in Reșița carry dental work that has lasted a few decades: a bridge fitted back in the steelworks era, a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown, a partial denture held by clasps. Work like this rarely fails all at once. It warns you in stages: a crown that shifts when chewing, an abutment tooth that starts aching with cold, a denture that hurts the gum because the bone underneath has receded in the meantime. The patient feels all of it but lacks the words you would use. To them it's “something with the back tooth”. At the practice, that same phrase can hide a crown to re-cement in a few minutes or a cracked abutment that changes the whole treatment plan. If the slot is too short, the patient goes home with another appointment instead of a fix; if it's too long, the chair stands empty for a good part of the morning.

When the dentist who did the work is no longer in town

From a city that many have left, doctors have left too. Some of the patients now ringing your bell saw the same dentist for years, who has since retired or moved the practice elsewhere. With them went the chart, the X-rays and the memory of what was done. The history of that mouth now lives only in the patient's head, and not even complete there: they know the bridge on the right is “older than my grandson”, that a molar was “killed” at some point, that the lower denture never sat right. In the chair, with the lamp in their eyes, they remember only part of it. At home, with time to think and a family member beside them, they remember more. The first consultation with such a patient starts with piecing things together, and the practice that starts that work before the visit saves time and earns the trust of someone who has just lost the dentist they relied on.

The patient's problem reaches you in writing, ahead of the patient

In the mock-up we build for you free of charge, the booking button doesn't just lead to a name and a number. It leads to a few short questions you choose, which patients answer in their own words: what's bothering them, since when, whether there's old work in that spot and roughly how old it is, whether there's swelling or fever. Anyone who ticks swelling or fever doesn't fill in the rest of the request: they see straight away what to do and whom to call. Every other request reaches you on WhatsApp or by email, and you read it between two patients and decide yourself how much time to book and what to prepare. You don't diagnose remotely; you simply stop finding out in the chair what you should have prepared for. We start from the demo at /demo/stomatologie, but the questions, treatments and name are your practice's. If you like it, prices start at €290, the site goes live within a few days, and the price includes a single round of revisions plus a 7-day warranty after launch. We work remotely from Cluj-Napoca.

Frequently asked questions

If a patient writes in the evening that they're in pain, will they expect an instant reply?+

Not if the site tells them upfront when requests are read, for example at midday and when the practice closes. We state this clearly next to the send button, along with what to do if they can't wait: your emergency number, if you have one, or advice to go to the emergency department if the swelling grows. That way nobody stares at their phone all night, and you don't answer messages between extractions.

Which questions go into the request without it looking like a medical questionnaire that scares patients off?+

Only a few, in the patient's own words: what they feel, since when, whether there's old work there, whether it's swollen. Each comes with options to tick, plus a free line for anyone who wants to say more. The full medical history stays for the consultation, where you take it face to face. We settle the final list together, starting from the questions you really ask on the phone every day.

Can a patient also send a photo of the crown that came off?+

Yes, if you want that. The image field is optional, and we add it only to requests where it truly helps: a loose crown, chipped work, a cracked denture. A photo is no substitute for an examination, but it tells you whether the patient is coming with the crown whole in their pocket or in pieces, so you prepare the slot differently. Next to the field we note that the image is only a guide, so nobody expects a verdict from it.

Who else sees what a patient writes to me about their health?+

Only whoever receives the request: you or the person you choose, on the practice's WhatsApp or email address. The description appears nowhere on the site and we never publish it. Because this is health data, we place a short note next to the button about what you do with it and how long you keep it, which you check before launch. The final wording belongs to the practice, not to us.
